Our Story

Tracy Marsh Hoffman & Ian Murrough had an idea. Founders of the LA based Creative Agency HDF.LA, decided it was time to embark on a long held passion project, one that would continue to take them on creative adventures around the world, while giving back to the local artisans and their communities along the way.

Our advertising adventures have taken us to man exotic and wonderful places & on these journeys, we have always sought out the local guides location scouting and producing these incredible photoshoots for fashion and lifestyle brands, some of our most memorable moments have been the hunt for those super special, unique, handcrafted items locally sourced, whether it be in a souk in Marrakesh or by a reclusive ceramicist tucked away in his mountain studio in Santorini.

Loving every minute of these moments, meeting these makers & discovering their artistry. The pleasure continues as we bring these amazing treasured pieces back home to share with our friends and families and collectively experience these finds honoring centuries old traditions in a thoroughly modern way, in our homes and creative spaces.

They invited Ian’s brother John Murrough, fashion designer and passionate collector, to join them.

The Wanderlane was born.
